Carter has new glasses!

Jake was surprised!

There is more Zawinul music that I have not heard! There was a Midnight Jam cd that may not have been released in this country - at least I can’t find it. It has this version of the D Flat Waltz, one of my favorite tunes - lots of builds, releases, surprises, and funk. The original recording from the Weather Report Domino Theory album had brilliant playing (especially the percussion) and production EXCEPT the unfortunate addition of some handclaps and doowap vocals. This big band version is killer.
