We now have a president who can make a mistake. Finally.
We read his resume; we interviewed him over and over; we formed committees; and in the end we voted. We wanted him for the job. We knew what he wanted to do and what he stood for. We knew he was taking on a very difficult job at a very difficult time. We didn’t know how he would perform. How could we? So now we know that he makes mistakes - and knows it. I am relieved. That’s the way I feel.
