New church leader

I was mowing the grass and thinking about the furor around that poor dead woman in Florida, - I think it is unfair to use her name, somehow tying her identity to events that she had nothing to do with and that have little to do with her - and I can see the outline of an invisible guiding hand, the same hand that is guiding many of the critical issues facing the US. That hand is, of course, Karl Rove’s.

That’s when I had a vision of the future. The end result of Karl’s labors is not the grand plan of perpetual republican dominance. What would that really accomplish? Batch after batch of lesser conservative intellects would just muddy the message with ethics scandals.

The real grand plan is a new church, the church of Karl Rove. He won’t need the bushies, or DeLay, or Frist, or faceless groups with TV money and direct mail lists. He can just tell us what god wants directly. Whew. That will be simpler.
